Keep the one that is best without the comb. Each point missing is only a small point reduction.Hey guys my Australorps are a bit over 6 months and the 2 roosters I kept so far one is fighting the other from time to time and I need to decide who to keep. Was hoping I can use both but that's not gonna happen.. Anyways I'll post pics as soon as I can for a more visual look but here's a general on both.
Rooster 1 -
Pros - Nice body, nice tail, nice shinny black feathers, nice eyes, straight toes, decent weight, good shank color.
Cons - He's a 1 man show, so far he only has 3 points on his comb will another grow as he gets older?
Rooster 2 -
Pros - Nice weight, good plump body, eyes, decent tail, nice 4 points on comb, decent feathers.
Cons - Toes are not crooked but there not straight, shanks are shade color lighter then black.
