Very nice!

My daughter and two of our BA's... She and I spend a lot of time "messing" with them, all seem very friendly.

That is really a neat pic of your daughter holding the BA's. I am always so happy to see children and young adults involved with chickens. ~Dee~

My 3 pullets are laying almost every day. They aren't loving by any means, but all of them tolerate being held briefly and patted now and again. My hubby thought I was nuts trying to make "pets" of them. He appreciates it when they need to be handled, though. One of them pecks my hand too much when I feed them, but she's never been that friendly. My roo used to love to be able to perch on my arm but I'm not exactly sure that would work out now lol. I could put him to sleep petting him. Miss those days, but he's still my favorite.

That is so cool! Enjoyed your pics so much. ~Dee~

Hennchick,
Welcome aboard the crazy chicken train. Your cockerel reminded me of one of my prized breeders "Dundee". He was real friendly and would listen to a lot of voice commands and do tricks. Check out my link to Dundee Lap Dance below. After I lost him I never taught another chicken tricks. You are way out west by the Ohio border and I am way east by Martinsburg,WV. Quite a diverse state we live in, don't ya think.

So Sorry you lost him he was a REAL Nice Boy

He's my favorite too. Not the best picture of him. I need to get one of him more relaxed. Not planning to breed the brothers to the sisters. Keeping them to show and breed to future generations.

Our two Blues Brothers have grown a bit, just over 10 weeks now and the Dark Blue is suspected of crowing already.

Black cockerel...impressed with how much his comb and wattles have grown.

Lighter blue cockerel

I am finding a few longer feathers in the grow out run now so I think they are going through their first mini moult.
