hey im trying to decide what two breeds I want next. any suggestions

someone suggested that this mystery chick of mine (Lady Kluck) could be an australorp! thoughts?!

age is unknown (guessing about 5 weeks now??? i'm new to this haha) and mayhaps a pullet?

She looks like a hatchery lorp. What hatchery is she from?

Expect eggs at 22 weeks old, or a bit longer because it will be Fall.

Just have to share - rounding up the 3 littles this evening and Lorpy is always the one running away, being difficult but tonight she flew up to my arm where the others were perched. So she IS a smart girl, she just has her own way of getting with the program!

S/he's actually from the flea market. A woman was selling them with no clue as to age, breed, sex, ect. She said her husband has a bunch of chickens and she hates them so she knows nothing about them. When a bunch were born, she snuck into the the coop, gathered as many offspring as she could and brought them to sell. That's how I came about my 6 mystery assortment of chicks.

In a way. If either party in my household were to be that deceitful, it might not rise to a capital offense but it would surely lead to dissolution of the relationship, with one or both parties carrying permanent scars.....mental and physical !

Right?!? She was pretty strong in her convictions... Haha I wonder what happened when she got home! Fly on the wall!!!
