Thank you both for all of the info! I'm now working on increasing both her protein and methionine consumption. I won't use Purina products for personal reasons, but I will definitely provide some natural sources of it for them.
 
Here's a few pictures of "my girls" (at least I hope they all are...lol)






They are a little over 4 weeks old...so how old do they have to be before you'll know for sure if they are pullets or roos?

I'm not too sure about the bottom one. It's comb looks a bit larger than the others', but the rest of them look like pullets to me.
 
The bottom one and the one to the left in top pic are are possible cockerels at 4 weeks. Give it a few more weeks and you will know for sure. There will be a noticable difference in the combs. The boys will be bigger and pinkish red while the girls will be smaller and yellowish in the comb portion. The boys will have wattles showing also and not the girls.

What is BBS and BST?? I'm new to here and new to chickens too....lol

yeah, the bottom one is looking rather masculine

One of my fellows around 6 weeks old (I've got em from 2 wks to 26 weeks growing out around here, I lost track of specifics
