Australorps breed Thread

Supposedly a ranch store had Australorps, but when I got there, there weren't any! Now I have to wait till April 25th unless another store gets them.

How close are you to Ideal? There is a store here that will special order them for you from Ideal.

My son recently acquired a small flock of Black Australorps from a friend. Not sure on their linage, but she bought them at the APA National 2010 in Shawnee, OK. I think Jahdan did well for an 11 year old! He also picked up a pair of very bad hair day chickens from the lady. He is so proud of his new flock!

Just ordered 6 Black Australorp pullets & 1 cockerel. Also ordered 6 Red Sex Link pullets & 3 Rhode Island Red pullets. I had originally not even thought of BA's but after reading here a while I couldn't help myself.

I already find myself wishing I had more room for more chickens
