The can be stressed for up to two weeks when moved.I need help!
I introduced new laying hens (red stars) to my current flock of 3 australorps. It's been 5 days and my red stars have only laid 3 eggs so far TOTAL. Are they still stressed from the move? Should I be concerned that they aren't laying?
At first they bullied my shy australorps (even though the australorps are much larger than the red stars) but now they seem to live in harmony.
Anybody else have experience introducing laying hens to an existing flock?
Thanks!
Both the red stars and the australorps are both 1 year old this month.

or they have less sun in your coop than where they came from ..So they are backing down some .
Try giving them a little more protein ...Cooked Scrambled eggs , milk or yogurt or black sun flower seeds
