Also, one of my pullets (Please - she must be a pullet) face& crown have started to redden up - other two still very pale. Should I be worried she may be a late blooming he or not??

Have any of you ever had an Australorp lay a whitish colored egg? One of ours is doing that...

To be honest mine aren't really that brown. Wouldn't say it's white white, but it's the same colour as my silkie and faverolles. I've noticed you guys saying they are brown egg layers but haven't really found that here.

yeah, all the others are laying from medium brown to a lighter brown but this one is laying a very light brown, really cream colored....

Yours are much more the colour of my store eggs. I must look up our standard and see if they are supposed to be brown egg layers over here as well.
