Why do my Black Australorp breast feathers tipped in whiteView attachment 2360032

She's still young, and sometimes early feathers are tipped with white. As she gets bigger and keeps going through chick molts, less white will be on her feathers.

And then when they are all black, their feathers are iridescent in the sunlight. Beautiful birds. Not that I'm biased, or anything... I only have three.

Some of the feathers already see iridescent colors
