Automatic door question I have an X-Large coop, should I open the the automatic "Pullet Shut" door out or open the door into the coop? We have all seasons to the extreme here, triple digits many days in the summer and some below zero F temperatures in the winter, and as a bonus we often have winds over 60mph. We rarely get rain or snow.

I'd appreciate anyone's (with Pullet Shut automatic experience) advice!

They are designed to open out to prevent predators from being able to push the door in.

I'm looking to order my pullet shut door today. (solar w/photo eye)
What are the magnets for? I see that there is an option to order 4 extras??

I posted the question on another 'pullet shut' thread and then realized there was some controversy going on - figured my question would be lost.

Oh, and winds have been no issue, shortly after I got mine we had that "land hurricane" that put WV in a state of emergency, I saw a wall of sand dirt and debris coming at me, the door was unscathed. Winds were in excess of seventy mph.
