My avatar is a good illustration of type in a quality Chantecler. The circular background makes it ideal for an avatar, and it is clear even when shrunk to the size required to fit in the box. The constant reminder of what I am breeding for is also quite helpful to me.

I was so excited to finally have green eggs in my egg basket I wanted to make a rainbow circle like you always see... but it didn't work right. I just kept fiddling with the eggs until this arrangement just sort of happened:

I was a bicyclist loong before I was introduced to chickening, so when it came to an avatar for this group I did an image search for something that would tie the two together. Alas, pulmonary fibrosis robbed me of half of it, but I kept the Av' anyway as it does explain my username at least.

in mine is a leghorn named chicky she was yes was our chicky and my daughters BFF I found them last summer sleeping in the hammock together she was the type that if you stood on the porch and called her she would come running she would walk up to you and sit and wait for you to pick her up if you took to long she would squalk at you to remind you she was waiting for you to pick her up she was the best
