I am pretty sure what the OP meant (though I suppose I could be wrong) is if you have a pic of a PERSON it should actually be you. I don't worry about having my pic on the internet. I am just as likely to meet some psycho who wants to kill me at the grocery. Maybe more likely, and they can follow me home. I love seeing who I am talking to.

Mine is part of a painting on the side of my coop. It's probably pretty close to the "inner me"

. I considered putting a picture of myself up there, and still may. I am seriously not worried about anyone bothering me, the risk of that is very very very low. It's riskier for me to drive my car to the store than that someone will go out looking for me after seeing my silly mug on the internet. I'm just not that exciting.
