Edited to add: You forgot to mention that humans are animals as well so if it's a person's photo, a dog, a cat or a chicken...they're all animals.

I think those that complain have serious mental issues in their real lives. For every complaint I get, I get more PM's from people saying they like what I've posted. I've never been asked by a mod to remove an avatar either. I think that speaks volumes about what the general consensus is. Here are a few I've used over the last year.

The chicken bikini avatar was HORRIBLE. I am offended too. It should have been in a modest Lands End tankini and been in demure navy blue instead of polka-dotted. What do you think chickens are? Pieces of meat???
