I'll send you a message tonight, I saw yours I just haven't had time to respond yet! And yes, I have experience specifically with dogs for vetmed. In the meantime, I agree with your vet, I'll send you some more info in a bit.I talked to our vet that we used to use in Ohio when we still lived there, and he said he would recommend keeping her home for now and just giving her boiled chicken/rice/carrots in small portions to see if that would help first. He said that if it gets worse he would take her in, but that it would be too stressful on her and the puppies right now, and if she doesn't have a fever and is still eating and drinking he thinks the chances of it resolving on its own are good. He said to keep monitoring her temperature and giving her water.
She is in good spirits, just seems tired. I'm thinking the transition from small amounts of food at the end of pregnancy to lots of food after giving birth was a big change for her too.
That would be great, thank you!I'll send you a message tonight, I saw yours I just haven't had time to respond yet! And yes, I have experience specifically with dogs for vetmed. In the meantime, I agree with your vet, I'll send you some more info in a bit.
Thanks BlueI'll be out until tomorrow night, but will be hoping and praying that all goes well with her.
