I talked to our vet that we used to use in Ohio when we still lived there, and he said he would recommend keeping her home for now and just giving her boiled chicken/rice/carrots in small portions to see if that would help first. He said that if it gets worse he would take her in, but that it would be too stressful on her and the puppies right now, and if she doesn't have a fever and is still eating and drinking he thinks the chances of it resolving on its own are good. He said to keep monitoring her temperature and giving her water.

She is in good spirits, just seems tired. I'm thinking the transition from small amounts of food at the end of pregnancy to lots of food after giving birth was a big change for her too.

I stopped getting notifications for this thread for some reason and only just caught up. Super cute little puppies, and I hope Avery feels better!

Avery is still having some pretty runny poop today. I've been giving her boiled chicken and rice, and I gave her some kefir too which she enjoyed. Puppies are all doing well.
