Avian/chicken vets in the UK? chlamydophila psittaci

Does anyone know of a good chicken vet in the UK?

I think my cockerel might have chlamydophila psittaci and I need a veterinary clinic who can do a blood test to see if he has it. The avian vets in my area all specialise in parrots/cage birds. They have all agreed that my rooster may have chlamydophila psittaci but they don't have the facilities to test him for it.

I urge you to take caution with your cockeral if in fact he has chlamydophila psittaci. This disease can be transmitted to humans as well as your other chickens. I recommend that you practice very strict biosecurity around your birds until you find a way to resolve this issue.

I found a vet within the UK who is now testing him for chlamydophila psittaci. Fingers crossed.
