Ayam Cemani chicks 8-9 weeks old

I think you are right. They both still have very small combs. I am curious what yours were crossed with, if you don't mind sharing :)
The original generation foundation was brahma bantam, svart hona, kraienkoppe mix, isbar and possibly serama/game mix. I'm wanting to add some fresh blood this year for certain qualities

This is a f5/f6 rooster I'm looking as keeping as a second rooster and rotate the older roosters out and put a f2 rooster from another part of the yard in to reintroduce the fibro gene

Darn, I hope the seller didn't do it on purpose. Thanks everyone for the input.

Any ideas if male or female?
I'm kinda thinking your first birdie is a female actually. Really cute! But I think everyone is right here.... the rest are just Cemani crosses. Really pretty birds, but definitely not purebred. It is true that this breed has a high cull rate, but in purebreds you'd be culling for an off white feather (like a single feather), a pink mouth/tongue, excessively round body type. These guys are clearly part-bred though, not purebred. I'm so sorry! Don't be discouraged though....there are a lot of us Cemani breeders out there who are very ethical and wouldn't do this to you.
