if I remember correctly it was $5,000 for a juvenile pair. Just a bit on the pricey side for me

It is illegal to import birds from Indonesia. Greenfire Farms imported their Ayam Cemani from Europe which is legal.

I cannot speak for everyone in Indonesia. I can tell you that I've had a very negative experience buying and supporting a breeder in Indonesia.
