so the three darker ones are pearl color? I know this breed is crossed with mallards but the darker ones look a lot like normal mallards
These ones are second generation blue pearl. While they look like mallards in patterns their down is more grey/ blue color instead of brown like a mallards.

most of mine hatched without assistance.
I had 18 eggs, 2 clear, 1 blood ring, 4 DIS, 7 hatched without assistance more than a safety hole, 4 needed full assistance.

Sounds like these ones were backcrossed one generation ago. So, a mallard was crossed in, then those crosses were bred back to Aztecs, and these are the results of that breeding.

That’s exactly correct. I contacted the person I got the eggs from to find out. I didn’t want to outcross them if they had already been.
