You are only a couple hours away from me. Are you going to breed or will these be for a backyard flock?
I ask because I have some chicks, a pullet and some hens that are not breeding quality, but would be fine for a backyard flock.

i think ALL dorkings are rather hard to find... unless you know where to look. LOL silver grey and red are probably the most numerous, but that being said, they're still pretty uncommon.oh dear! Chicken math...*sigh
I've been reading that Silver Grey Dorkings are rather rare; is this colour more than others hard to find?
I purchased 2 trios from Ed Hart. He is the one that told me that a Silver Grey over the white produced half cuckoo birds. I know he used a Silver Grey on this whites. So that is why I think I am hatching cuckoo birds.

have you weighed them? i would tend to go with the middle or top one over the bottom (back looks shorter to me), but would use the heaviest one, if there's a clear difference.
