Maybe she's a cross between a BA and a peacock? I swear she looks like a peahen when she struts around.

Probably a Black Minorca

But
could be a White Faced Black Spanish ---> https://secuservices.com/ideal/newideal/selectproduct.aspx?qty=1&ID=WFBSP&Product=734

Or
possibly a Black Andalusion ----> https://secuservices.com/ideal/newideal/selectproduct.aspx?qty=1&ID=BLAP&Product=345

None
of these breeds are "heavy," but there could have been a mistake at the hatchery, or at the feed store, such as the ever popular "Put the chick back Tommy, it's time to go now."

Your pullet definitely has white earlobes, which would rule out BAs, BGJs, and BSLs...

I agree, Kat. My BAs are more "U" shaped, too. Does that make sense? They look a bit different, body shape wise, than any of my other girls.
The pale face has me confused as well....

However, I forgot to mention that she was banded as a chick, same as the black sex link chicks were. Also this year our Atwoods store did something I never saw before - they attached screened, locking lids to the water troughs the chicks were in.

All of those look like a possibility. I just emailed Ideal with the pics. I'll let you know what they think.

Thanks y'all

Good Luck waiting on Ideal it took them over two weeks to respond to me and then they couldn't ID the pictures of chickens I needed them to ID. I have BA'a and they have yellow on the bottoms of their feet and their faces are not pale as your chickens. Mine have black combs the have reddened as they have gotten older.

She is not a Australorp, Jersey Giant or a Orpington (the three "Black" breeds hatcheries love to cross).
The OP's bird has a White Skin not just some White Feathers around the face. At best I would say she was a Hatchery Type Black Spanish or even just a cross breed.
