My 4 week old chick got peck in the eye from a month old chick and it wouldn’t close. Would it be ok and should I do treatment on it?

My salmon faverolle chick got her eye pecked when she was 2 weeks old, and I was told to wash it out with a napkin/paper towel and warm water to get the brown crustiness off. Then to put saline solution on the eye. I didn't end up doing the saline solution. Her eye was very wet, glassy, kind of flat and red, but Bastienne is now 6 weeks old, and her eye is all better! I was afraid she would be blind in that eye. I will include some photos so that we can make sure it's similar. The first picture is Bastienne after we washed her eye out, the second is her now.

Pictures are always welcome. If it were mine, I would flush the eye with sterile saline and then use either terramycin eye ointment (most tractor supply stores carry it) or plain neosporin in the eye 2-3 times a day as necessary.
