Baby Chick With Duct Tape Issue

It worked, but she got some on her body feathers and was pecking at it. I put some blue-kote on it and it seems to be working even though she pecked at it again once or twice.

Now I see she it pecking at it herself even with the blu-kote, what do I do?

Pecking at tape, or olive oil? I never use blukote, I find it just gets in the way and makes things harder to clean up. others use it with no problems but personally I hate the stuff. Haha.

I took the tape off and cleaned the olive oil off, but some of the tape was on her body feathers and she was pecking at it. Now it is all red. I put blu-kote on but it didn't do much. I don't know what tot do.

Maybe coconut oil? Non-toxic, slimy, and does not smell bad.

Clean off as much as you can and dry her well, I suppose. Distract her with food, a mirror. Friends. Might just be it feels funny now.
