Baby chicks laying down

are baby chicks supposed to lay down all spread out to sleep?

We just got a new set of chicks - after 5 years without chickens! - and I forget everything!! lol

If they are stretched out and sleeping soundly that is good. If they huddle together and cheep a lot, they are most likely chilled. Sounds as if yours are doing fine. Good luck with them.
