Baby chicks?

Can you tell what kind of chick this is? Looks like a neighbors chicken laued eggs and hatched them but this little guy was left all alone. I think the cats may have caused that.

There are many breeds that have chipmunk chicks, and the wild type pattern (chipmunk) is very common in mixed breeds.

So without knowing the circumstances, especially if it is a neighbor's hen who was brooding, so we assume free range rather than controlled breeding pen, chances are it is a mixed breed chick.

"Probably" female as 3 colored striped with marking from head, down neck, to tail without a break is "often" female in wild type (but not always).
