baby duck with lots of problems

Two welsummer and two ameraucanas/easter Eggers, not completely sure if they are ameraucanas bc the pic in store showed two blue eggs and one tan and don't they only lay blue? Oh well, I'll love them either way. Both the EE's/Ameri have muffs, they're so tiny. Welsummers are the two up front

They are so cute..Congrats!

you are going to put shaving in that pool I hope it's way to slippery and can cause spraddle legs.

They are so cute. It makes me want to go out and get some baby chicks. Hold them and give them a kiss for me because I can't get anymore chickens.

Yes the ameraucans only lay the blue eggs so you probably have 2 ee's. I'm glad you got the ones with muffs. Only one of my ee's has muffs and it is so cute. Your going to put some shavings down for them aren't you? You sure don't want them to get spraddle leg like Patti said.

Thanks for sharing their pics with us I love looking at the babies.

Oh yes! That was just the temp while we got the real one set up. We've actually got them in one of those storage tubs cause they jumped outta the pool already. But yup they've got shavings. I'll post more pictures later they're so cute

Morning snacks
Look at them going for the food. That's great that you put them in a storage tub that's what I always use. They jumped out of the pool the little stinkers. It sounds like you got some healthy ones with lots of energy. Thanks for posting this pic and I look forward to seeing more.

Clyde took his medicene this morning. Bless his little heart. He didn't get it yesterday, Topper stole it right from under his bill. I'm thinking about putting Clyde and Sherry in the baby pen. I don't like to cage him up but his food and water will be closer and it will be easier to see that he gets his pill everyday. If they don't seem to be happy I can let them out again.

I baked cookies yesterday which I haven't done for years. I don't understand why the store bought cookies don't compare to homemade. I guess all the preservatives they put in them. I baked chocolate chip and sugar cookies. I've still got the receipe sitting out for peanut butter cookies I may bake those today. Those are my favorite.

Hubbie brought in a couple loads of dirt to fill in the low spots in the yard. The chickens love all the new dirt to dig and scratch in. If it ever rains again I'm going to need hip boots to feed the chickens and ducks.

I hope everyone has a nice day today.
