Robbie helped with catching Clyde just a little while ago. He wasn't much a challenge. Once we caught him he was like a lap duck. He has like 3 callous's on each foot. They are pretty small and none of them have a black dot on the inside. I don't think he has bumblefoot. Toppers had like a black dot on the inside of her bump and it was really swollen. Everyone had to pet and talk to him. He reminds me so much of Que Sera only ten times bigger. I really think he enjoyed being held and made over. I think hubbie was right it must be his hip. We felt his legs and didn't feel anything broken.
Que Sera come inside just a little while ago. She almost fell asleep nestled up to me. I think she's almost ready to join the flock. I sure will miss my baby. She was outside almost 4 hours.
I'm glad Opie shares his food. I've noticed the male ducks always wait to eat after the girls eat. My chickens are the same way except for the teenage roo's. They haven't learned to be gentlemen yet.
I just passed out some watermelon to the flock. A little produce stand had them on sale for 2.00 a piece. That's the cheapest I've seen them. Walmart had them for almost 6.00 the other day. That was way to high for them.
