baby duck with lots of problems

I woke up to thunderstorms last night or this morning. I don't even know what time it was. I run around closing all the windows when we really needed the cool air the most. My blind in the bedroom fell down I'm wrestling with the tye backs on the curtains trying to close the curtains. Ozzie is stuck to the side of the bed he thinks the firecrackers have returned.

I counted duck heads this morning and nobody has floated off yet. We do have a fishing boat and I'm seriously going to get hubbie to put the motor on it in case we need it. I wish I had some hip wader boots to feed the chickens and ducks with. I do have some rubber over the knee boots and those will do for now.

I'm so glad the ducks like the water and are able to swim. I haven't checked the koi pond yet. The fish might be next door who knows.

I can picture that now, how precious. A teen age duck baby sitting just like what we all did when teens. lol

No Opie didn't come in today it has been pouring rain most of the morning so he's been hanging out with his girls he has 5 now that the other 2 drakes have been re homed but one is brooding on nothing [it is her profession] she is a pro brooder. missing her summer of fun. He is still getting us to keeping those girls happy, [Takes alot of work] lol

LOL...that sure brings back memories! We would save up our money so we could go to the roller skating rink on Friday or Saturday nights.
