I put Que Sera in the bathtub last night. She looked so lonely so I went and got Uno and put him in with her. I think my suspisions are right I think Uno is a boy. Que Sera honked and chattered constantly and Uno would make little peeping noises every now and then. I put some frozen peas in the water and they would dive down and eat them. I don't think Que Sera gets in the pool outside. All the other ducks do but I haven't seen her in the pool at all. I've seen her dunk her head in from the side but I haven't seen her in it. Maybe eventually she will, she seems to enjoy the tub tho.

I've got to get everyone fed and watered their waiting for me. I hope everyone has a nice day.

I sure will Deb Que Sera loves the hugs and Uno is very shy. The backyard ducks have been venturing over to the side yard for the past two days. As long as Sonny doesn't jump Topper they seem to be getting along. Donald is pretty jealous of anyone looking at Topper.

I used to put her in the pool when she was young. She would stay in as long as I stood beside her. I think she is scared to get in the pool even if there are other ducks in it.

Patti I just read that if a muscovy duck mated another duck besides a muscovy the female would have mule ducks. That is so strange. The babies would not be able to reproduce. I've never heard of that before. I guess even at my age you learn something new everyday.

I've got everyone fed now I have to water. Que Sera is eatting out of my hand every morning. I still haven't convinced the others to do it yet. They say to crouch down and get at their level to get them to do it but if I did they would have to help me back up again. I don't think they could get me back up.

I hope everyone has a nice day and if you haven't seen the video you should check out ducks diving for fish. They slide down the ramp and they have little inserts that tells each ones name. Then the music oh my well you have to see it. They have a huge pool I wish i could afford one for my ducks.

Between mopping and cleaning here I've been reading the Derperella story. Oh my goodness it is the best I'm on page 68 and it goes up to 400 some odd. I just hope she doesn't pass away. I want her to live forever. The sales on Faverolle chickens must have skyrocked when people read this story. I want a Faverolle chicken so bad after seeing her pics and hearing her stories. They call her Derp if you haven't read her story she is a little slow and had so many problems when she first got her. She's still smaller then the other chickens but she just has a personality that is unique. If she writes a book about her it would be a best seller.

So if a female Muscovy gets mated by another duck that isn't Muscovy she will have mules too? That is the only breed of duck that is like that too isn't it? The woman I gave the baby ducks too she said she had a Muscovy female but it laid eggs but none of them were fertile. She only had the one female Muscovy. I just wonder if she has a mule and she doesn't know it.

I loved that pool to in the video but our water bill is so high now we couldn't afford to fill it. I use the rain water to fill the duck pools with. The top tank is almost empty now but we still have another one of the bottom but it not hooked up for a water hose.
