I hope the medicine gets to you soon! And I hope it makes Clyde feel better. Is he really hard to catch? Cause I know you're worried about other ducks getting the meds and not him; if he's not hard to catch you could bring him in? Or maybe when you're letting the others outta the coop make him stay in? I dunno, just throwing out ideas! Hope he gets 'the meds though. What a handsome character he is. That is so funny that he pulls the towel off so he can see hisself in the oven door. No wonder he likes to look at himself he can't get over how cute he is.Thanks so much for sharing this pic with us. It made my day.![]()

p.s. I ordered Clydes medicene yesterday.
I really hope that I can get Clyde to take the pill before the others snatch it. I've got a little plan that when Topper and the gang are eatting the eggs Clyde usually stands back on the other side of the yard. That is when I will throw him the bread with the pills in it. While their eatting the boiled eggs Clyde can get his bread.Yay Patty. I hope it shows up soon for Clyde.
Hopefully Nugget has forgotten that you've taken her passport and luggage and will be content staying in her yard.
Thanks Patti I'll watch for the specials and I hope it helps Clyde. Opie is a sweetheart.Good for you Patty i hope it helps Clyde, oh and watch for their specials too I got some a while back buy one get 1 half price and since I am giving it to 2 mini doxies and 1 duck I stocked up.
I just gave Opie a hug and kiss from you!!
Even tho Clyde has trouble walking he is still hard to catch. I don't like to chase him because I know how hard it is for him to move around. I've got that plan when the others are eatting their eggs and he will get a chance to eat the bread while they are busy. They don't go in a coop at night. The chickens do but I can't get the ducks to go in. That would be easy if they did that I could hold Clyde back while the others left.I hope the medicine gets to you soon! Nugget doesn't seem to be holding a grudge since her passport and lugguage has gone. She's still running up to me when I hand out treats of course. Maybe if she puts on a few pounds it won't be as easy to fly over the fence without her wings.

Oh dear, I feel embarrassed...yesterday Hils and I saw a tiny duck paddle by with a flock of mallards, and for a moment we thought it might have been a little lost call duck. So I throw on some clothes and run outside with kibble & peas to try and get it to follow me. I run all along the pond, looking for it, and I finally see it on a bank in some reeds with more mallards. I run over, only to discover...it was just a juvenile female wood duck. Granted, she was thrilled to have my peas and kibble, but I worked myself into a frenzy over a wild wood duck!
I really hope that works, Patty. I want Clyde to get better. He's a beauty and cute and don't want him to be uncomfortable. Funny how you have to distract Topper. Let us know how it goes. I am glad Nugget isn't mad at you for impounding her travel necessities. And true, if she gets chubbers then she cant scale any fences even if clipped.I really hope that I can get Clyde to take the pill before the others snatch it.
