Have you tried mealworms, worms, spinach or kale for the turtle ? They also eat dead things and mushrooms and wild berries.

He's got a huge bag of kale but he doesn't like it. The ducks are eatting it tho. I haven't tried the mealworms or worms, mushrooms or wild berries. Tonight we had a chef salad for supper so he had another smorgasboard of stuff. He had shredded cheese, romaine lettuce, english cucumbers, brocolli, cauliflower, shredded carrots and cherry tomatoes. He took a couple of bites of the cauliflower. I didn't turtles were this picky. I'll fix him some more mystery meat tomorrow I know he likes that.

Wow Patti that was horrible. I hope they realize what we go through to try and take care of them. Then the little brats laughing behind your back. I think I heard a few snickers when I landed in the rose bush trying to pull the water hose up so I could fill the pool.

Jeffery is experiencing some gourmet foods. And he likes some and not others. A chef salad is one of my favorites. Did he taste the dressing?

I left the dressing and the croutons and ham off of his salad. That could be theproblem. This computer is driving me nuts. Sorry for the typos I am writing and five seconds later it appears. Aggravating computer. Mine does that at times too and I wanna beat it.

So funny, you are. It may have been the problem. The best part about any salad is the dressing. I'd experiment with little quantities of each and honey mustard too as Patti suggested and perhaps he will eat more of the nutritive goodies in it.

Your right Julie the dressing is the best part no wonder he wouldn't eat it. I'll get a bottle of the honey mustand salad dressing and see if he likes that.

Tonight he is going to sample beans and fried potatoes and greens. He might be a down home country boy.
