Yes, you do need her weight to give her an antibiotic... but if I remember correctly, Tylan is really hard on birds when injected, I believe you can give it to her orally... you'll have to draw it out with a needle, but then can give it orally... @casportpony will know for sure about Tylan and dosage, just need her weight...![]()
is there anyway I could give her a small dosage until then to get her started? She is one who won't eat from my hand and is so crazy when I pick her up I guess I will have to use a children's motrin syringe (no needle) and add the antibiotic to a drop of water and hold her on her back and get most of it down her ;( The boys and I are going to head for the basement and search for the scale when the baby goes down for his nap. If I find it I will put her in a container like you suggested THANK YOU I couldn't figure out how to get her to hold still haha
