Baby peachicks with silkie mom?

So my Silkies peafowl eggs are hatching, this is her first time hatching eggs. I was wondering if being different species makes so the silkie can't understand the peachicks needs, if that makes sense. Only asking because she doesn't seem at all interested in the baby that has hatched so far. Thanks for the help in advance, my mom has really been wanting peafowl so I want these peachicks to have the best chance to grow.

Update: it seems the silkie wants to mother the peachick after all, so rather than taking the peachick, I took the rest of the eggs into my incubator because she didn't seem super interested anymore.
