Yes, the hen will care for them and teach them to eat. There has to be enough food and water, water where they cannot drown, need to be dry weather also. They are fragile when they are very young. If you are in an area that stays hot and dry this time of year, should be ok, throw in some chick starter for them, use a poultry water container so they won't drown, and they should be fine. I have found they don't do when if the weather is cool and wet. I have a peahen that hatched and raised 2 IB males 2 years ago. They are great and have a small tail this year. I have 2 hens in other pens that decided to go broody and set their own eggs. So, we will see what happens.
