Bad Example For Kids

Kids are a lot more observant than most parents give them credit for. My 14 year old son is in the 8th grade and he along with most students know every detail about every teacher like which one cheated on their spouse, which one is gay, which one got a DUII and so on and so on. I for one am not in a big hurry to expose my kids to the uglies of the world and for that reason I try to limit what I can but I also am a realist and know it will happen eventually and will do my part to see that he/she is prepared to make the right decision when that time comes because most likely I won't be there looking over his shoulder when it happens.

Now that I have had my fun for the day, I think I will sneak off to the store and buy a box of Cheerios for the ducks while hubby is sleeping in.

Don't tell my DH of 17 years I am going to make my garden bigger this year (oh never mind he figured out that out already) I am also going to either get some new chicks or hatch some out if I get a broody (oh yea he already figured that out also) I was going to get some ducks (he already knew that) how did he figure this all out because he knows me and figured that with spring coming I had some new ideas for my hobbies Just like I know when he is getting something for his hobby. Its all in good fun and I think that makes for a great long marriage

Ohh Don"t tell MY hubby I just ordered 12 hatching eggs.... oh wait he didn't tell me he was buying a useless only for pretty, very expensive chrome part for his motorcycle.... So I guess were even.... NOT!!!!!
