The milkiness is not what made me think of Marek's, that milkiness looks like an injury or infection. He also doesn't have any neurological issues.....yet.

Yes. We have a country vet with 2 that are familiar with chickens. I will get an appointment tomorrow if they can squeeze me in.The white film is not good. Is a vet an option?
Ok. Thank you so very muchThe milkiness is not what made me think of Marek's, that milkiness looks like an injury or infection.
It's possible... often the ones that re a little under the weather because of something like Marek's get picked on.Yes. We have a country vet with 2 that are familiar with chickens. I will get an appointment tomorrow if they can squeeze me in.
Do you think he got beat up because of this?
Thank you. I didn't want to pick at anything in fear I'd cause more bleeding. I'm going to take him to vet tomorrow. He was in a fight. Combs will bleed a lot, though it usually looks a lot worse than it actually is. The “mold” and beige bits are debris that stuck to his face. It looks like bits of feathers and leaves.
I think his eyes look funny because he’s had fowl pox and his face probably healed up a little disfigured giving him that wide eyed look. I had a rooster like that too.Hello, looks like a fight, but his eyes look a little weird to me. Was he vaccinated for Marek's?
This coloration looks like ocular Marek's to me.I think his eyes look funny because he’s had fowl pox and his face probably healed up a little disfigured giving him that wide eyed look. I had a rooster like that too.
It does look a little washed out in the closeup but he’s also in bright sunlight in the pic. This coloration looks like ocular Marek's to me.
