Bad footsie folks any idea?

Oh wow that a lot to process i hope and pray that Amputation does not happen. Thing is her appetite is good and aside from little limp she’s lively as heck, Itching to get to her sisters area on other side of fence. I’ll def continue epsom soaks. Despite her foot looking the way it is she appears to be trying to squeeze, a fist if you will, while doing her escaping flying moves when attempting to give her medicine. I’malso palpating her foot when rubbing coconut oil, seems to help. Wish us luck guys
Ea one of your inputs are amazing ❤️

Update folks, swelling still there but went down just slightly, I’m hoping this is improvement
She did however lose 3 nails, not sure if they able grow back because separation appears occurred at bone 😢

I think the foot surprisingly looks pretty good. Does the skin bleed at all? Is she getting around okay? That is a sign that it still has good blood circulation. They can live fine with 2 missing toes, and even with just a foot stump. But she may not lose the foot, since it has been awhile now. Thanks for the update.

Right thanks I was thinking same. She got lot her foot color back and think circulation looks good. Skin still some bleeding but less from prvs scabbing, which is slowly removing. Only thing foot swelling and thickness still a lot compared to healthy foot. 3 toes total lost so far. Hopefully downhill from here, only days will tell 🙏🏽
Oh and she’s moving real good with light limping

That does not look so bad anymore! She might be able to keep the rest of her foot and toes.

The "lost nails" are in fact nails plus part of her toes, so they will not grow back.

Well done and keep up the good care!

I would not let her mingle with her flock mates until completely healed. The last thing she needs now is some flock mates pecking at her scabbed wounds.

But she can spend time with them secured by a partition, something like "see but no touch".

Sound right yeah exactly what we’re doing, have a see thru fence Btwn her and her sisters.
Finished her antibiotics 15 day cycle.
Sure hope she doesn’t lose her foot tho but the swelling / thickness is not going away quick Enuff … More pics

Update good people
Almost seem back square one good folks
Lord have mercy. She’s walking w limp foots still inflamed but can’t bend stiff toes and which appears broken from still decent moving around. And bottom foot still feel hard kernel never went away even after removing it after previously surfaced. Good thing is she’s eating well. Feels like My next best move is to start over go deeper with blade and attempt remove non surfaced hard kernel under foot.
This has been a journey y’all good god 😥
