Bald Butts? - MITES/LICE?

Lol Lollipop, I just read another thread where you said that exact same thing...and you can get this stuff at places like IFA? Do I have to dip my birds, or could I spray them or something? I guess I could get my dad to do it!

Not sure where you'd get the dip, but you can get sevin at any walmart/lowes/etc in the garden section. I have no idea what ifa is.

not sure of the brand i use, but i bought my lice/mite treatments at the local feed store (Agway).

We also have a few Barred Rocks that have very large bare spots, and a friend who works at the local store in animal health has looked at them to no avail. No mites, no conditions, no moulting, eat, lay normally. I was told be a vet to add a "daylight" neon bulb and run it a few hours extra in winter un case it is moult related. No change. I also use DE and they love it. Go figure?!
