Bald Neck'ed Hen

My Rooster has pulled out all the feathers on the back of my Frizzle's neck. She's sporting a saddle (since her back was getting pretty bare) and I've ordered her a new saddle with wing protectors (since her wings are now bare too).

Is there anything I can do to dress her neck? A chicken scarf perhaps?

first separate that roo then let her regrow her fetheres in peace. A bonnet moght be a nice touch

I hate to separate the roo. He's really good with the girls, it's just that Frizz's feathers are so so fragile. He also saved them all from a dog attack yesterday, so I'd say he's earning his keep.

Unless you plan on hatching eggs soon, seperate them. How many hens does your rooster have?

I have 11 hens and 1 roo. I am not hatching eggs, but the rooster does a good job looking after the flock.
