My great-great-grandparents traced the Fisk family tree (they were French) all the way back to the 1500s... every single person. We have it all on paper, we even have the coat of arms. And lots and lots of old photos. My mom's dad is the French one, the Fisk family was his (although he didn't get the last name). My mom's mom is half Syrian and half Lebanese. My dad is European; both his parents ancestors came over on the Mayflower, one of them is Captain Myles Standish.
