Bananas 70 cents a lb.

Okay, was finally at the grocery store today, and in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.. at the A&P store, bananas are .69 cents a lb

I live in Northeast IL.I went to a local farm stand yesterday to pick up a few things .I could not believe the price of the corn the ears were only about 5 to 6 inches long (very small) and it was $1.19 for 3 ears

Banana trees don't take years. Trust me. Once you plant them, you WON'T be getting rid of them. My bananas are driving me nuts. They attract the rats and possums too. I've been digging them up for at least 3 years. They grow faster then I can get rid of them. I see in the convenient stores they sell them for a buck a piece here. Probably because it's so touristy.
