Banded olive egg?

Is this a banded egg? I can only find info on white banding. If it isn’t banding then is it something else to worry about? I’ve had some of my eggs from my olive eggers coming out specked like this but not the dark banding. That’s new.

That is a unique egg.
I've had a similar experience but mine weren't as dark as yours. Last year I had a blue egger that laid a "tie-dyed" egg and one of my green eggers was laying a "camo" egg. I wasn't sure what caused them as I hadn't changed feed. No one suffered any I'll effects.

Thank you. I’m glad it’s nothing too serious at least. I didn’t know eggs could be different colors naturally. My sister raises chickens and all her eggs were always one color or shade.

Many of my OE's have multi hued eggs.

Many of my OE's have multi hued eggs.

I won’t sweat it then when I see these weirdly shaded eggs. Just another perk of keeping your own chickens. Even their eggs have their own personalities.
