Banks, and the farm...

My dad went to meet with the guy who is arranging our bridging loan and mortgage... who is completely inept by the way, and we've got 7 days left, and he says to my dad "I can try for tomorrow, but perhaps Monday... or later" well... Monday is CUT OFF for any mortgage related stuff, and he's had 3 MONTHS to get this moving.

We have no idea what we're going to do, because if he screws us over... we're going to end up getting sued, AND have no where to live.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS, I hate Royal Bank... and I think after this is done, my parents are moving branches.

About the hay, it looks like we'll be finding a different supplier if the mortgage goes through, because the Jeff's make this weird type of bale, thats 36" by 8 feet long or something, and it flakes into small flakes, so we clearly cannot work with that and will be looking through the newspaper to find a supplier.

Our bankruptcy attorney did the same thing to us when we were filing. He waited til the absolute LAST DAY to file things that needed to be done. If it wasnt for the land court judge that handled the mortgage part of the filing we would have lost our home. The judge kept pushing dates back by weeks and sometimes months to keep the mortgage company from being able to file for foreclosure. The attorney kept aptting himself on the back and all i wanted to do was beat him over the head with a 2x4 or a brick

My dad ended up writing a "strongly worded," email to the mortgage specialist, saying that his lawyer found it most irregular that this was happening this way...next thing we know, he's given our file to another mortgage specialist! .. this new one seems more competent though, apparently Yasir, the old specialist didn't get our T4's for proof of income, this is REALLY ridiculous, and we're SEVEN DAYS from closing! with a bloody weekend right in the middle.​
