Lucky you! I lost a Japanese hen with her chicks this autumn (TO A FOX. HATE FOXES NOW!)
That was SO sad because some chicks kept calling for their dead mummy...

I'm with you on that one. FOXES ARE BAD NEWS. Thats one thing we can agree on! I FOX took my darling araucana (Perri) right infront of my eyes. I cant get that image away of her darling, innocent body being carried away in its menacing jaws.
