SO cute! I wish my banties had such a sweet indoor house! Where'd you get it?

Have you ever tried giving them squares of turf to dig up? They'd love it!
Yes, they are just fine.. very quiet other than egg song.
They sound spoilt

So i liked this house because all of the trays are removable. The brand is Aivituvin and they have lots of designs on their website.

Im about to build out an indoor playground. It'll have a swing, multiple swings, toys, like mirrors, xylophone, and yes, i will put a large square or sod underneath it that they can scratch around on too.

And yes.. they are spoiled... when i walk by, they run to the door and fly up to me as soon as i open the door. Once their play time is over, i just say cluck cluck cluck, and they run back inside!! I really love them. 💘

Seramas and large parrot cages are what got me thinking about chickens! Of course, seramas are way harder to just walk in and buy somewhere. So i got these little bantams instead.. but the goal from the start was to have indoor chickens.

If i had seramas, id get a large corner parrot cage, attach a nest box a little higher on one side, and have lots of branches everywhere. These smaller chickens seem to have a stronger flying instinct.

Great idea!

Mine's just like that.
At ground level, there's food, water and depending on the season, a patch of turf, dust baths or veggie piñatas.
Then there's a ramp up to lots of branches.
Fixed in one upper corner there's her 'eggbox'. Which is just a cardboard box she fell love with (long story ).

You'd be surprised how much can fit in a dog cage. It's a big one, mind, and they're the smaller kind of Seramas.
Yes, she's a fussy little madam. He's more adaptable!

Belgians are the way to go ;)
NO THEY ARE NOT.

I shouldn't be talking to @AngBantamLuv on principle! (I mean who would opt for BELGIANS instead of SERAMAS?!) But I'm too soft a leader.
And if it helps bring them round to the true bantams then it's all for a good cause!
