Bantam Chick not laying eggs

Hey,
I have a Bantam hen and she hasnt laid an egg for about 4 months now and I am wondering if this is normal?

Couple of questions: How old is your girl? Is she molting? Where are you located?

I read that hens will not lay forever. They have a finite number of eggs to lay in a lifetime and when they are done, they are done. I also read that egg production slows and/or stops when molting or during the winter time with less day light hours.

She is about 9 months old and I am in northern Utah. There hasnt been any snow yet nor has there been cold temps. I dont know what "molting" is.
