Bantam Cochin thread!!!

I want to get bantam cochins for pets and to show at 4-H. I dont know much about them and am hoping you all can tell me more and show pictures of yours!? oh and are they good showing birds?

Hi there. I don't have any Cochins but some of my friends in 4-H have done them for their poultry project. They are a very calm breed and easy to show. They walk well on the showmanship table unlike silkies. Also they are very gentle and great with the public. Hope this helps.

Just remember that every chicken will have their own personality. I have two, both are skittish of people despite being hand raised and one is quite vicious to other chickens. If I had it to do again I wouldn't have gotten them.
