Question for you all...Do you find that quality of leg feathering is evident from a chick? I have two pullets who seem to have very minimal feathering at 8 weeks of age. I'm wondering if they will fill in as they age. These birds came from non-hatchery lines. The males all have very nice feathering, the ladies, not so much.

Out of 8 Cochin I got 5 males and 3 females they came from tsc and they order form ideal as well 2 reds and one black mottled females. 1 buff 3 reds and 1 black mottled males. You just never know. The cochins are supper sweet though.

It's hard for me to see the other combs, by the way. But my past experience with all my Cochin has been very obvious combs pretty early. Wish all breeds were like that.
