So here they are All together...minus the one who is drying in the incubator still! The 3-1 week olds with the 6-1 day olds!

I did have them separated but they all look like they came from the same mother! The only trait that may have been passed on is the frizzle gene...which 6 of them are from the frizzle hen...

Congrats on your fluffy little group! Maybe you will have a good mix of frizzle and smooth! Frizzles are so adorable with those crazy feathers! Will be curious to see how they feather out! I have 18 bantam cochin eggs I just put in my bator yesterday

The yellow in the middle of the bottom row is the best candidate for frizzle atm, it's hard to see but the wings aren't laying smooth like the other two her age...I have to wait till Saturday to get an idea about the rest...the blue that's a week old barely has any feathers yet...so it might be a frizzle too, I read somewhere they are slow to feather, but so are roos... Lol

As far as I can tell there is only the one blue one...the other 4 are black I'm guessing the yellow might turn white...or cream, like the one showing frizzle..,I just can't figure out where I ended up with a cream frizzle out of a blue and a red?

I know the blue frizzles mother was black...I didn't ask which roo was her father...I hope the baby stays light blue...its so pretty!

But each mother the blue and the calico gave me 2 black babies, the ones from the blue have a lil red on the tops of their heads...the other two almost look like they are wearing tuxedos... Tiny lil penguins with white gloves on! So cute!

I'll separate them out again tomorrow and try to get better pictures.

My Pippa wasn't feeling well. We think she got an infection from some moldy hay that she was transported to me in. This was her at the vet yesterday, and she is good as new! Fiery little one, but she is quickly becoming my favourite.

Hope Pippa is feeling better...I wonder if feisty comes with the color?

Miss Dixie is really feisty! I hope she doesn't teach the babies she's skitti,g on to fear me...

I've had her since February, and she just hasn't warmed up to me at all...

Now she's broody, and wants even less to do with me... :-(
