So exciting!!! I would not be sleeping tonight either if I was waiting.....LOL! Can't wait to see them!!!!

thank you guys!!! My Cochin bantam (which actually might turn out to be a black frizzle- ff (straight black cochin) x FF (black cochin frizzle roo) might give me a 50-75% of frizzle chicks?)
is 1/2 around the egg and its bursting!! Also 9/10 are at least pipped- and the last one is my biggest polish egg, and you can still hear it move/peep so I know its a late bloomer!

EDIT: So its out, and its loud! Black cochin of sort, and it's chirping! Trying to chirp to the other eggs, since its kinda lonely right now- it's an early bird. Like really early. All of the other chicks have only pipped a few times, and are still trying! (well the other bantam cochin egg is lie 25% through.)

Sounds like a fluffball cochin. I'll try to get a good pic of the brahma bantams comb for you..they're about 11 days old. At your baby's stage you should see if there were a row on either side of it. I think my cochin cockerels reddened about 4 weeks old..definitely by 6. Still the fluffiest, sweetest little things. I'm sorry, but I'm not great with the various colors/combinations out there.

OKAY so 8/10 have hatched, and 2 are pipped and both trying. I feel really tired right now and want to settle down, so here are the pictures I took when the first 2-3 came. I 110% promise better pictures tomorrow, I just feel tired out from today, chores, tractor supply, setting up their little home lmao!

yeah man! I am really happy with the results, most of the polish chicks are grey/black/tan/white mixes, which is actually really interesting! Oh I enjoyed them all day- I checked em probably about every 30 minutes basically rooting each of them on when they were hatching C,x

I love when they chirp at the other eggs calling them out..LOL!!! hatching time is exhausting but so worth it all. Enjoy your fluffy babies
