I would call that beautiful hen a Calico as opposed to a Millie Cochin. The ones with the black chevrons tipped with white are what you would be looking for in the Millie Cochins. Here are a couple I had in 2011/2012 that was a beautiful example of a Bantam MIllie Cochin

I do not know, that chick looks like its head should have feathers though

Neat, so does the almost solid dark partridge vs lighter more chipmunk partridge mean anything??
This is one I was told was a Mille... she's pretty, the lady had a few that looked like this so I hope she grows up to as well...

But Milles are darker at hatch, I believe. Mine was.

Was told it was a blue Cochin. I am no chicken expert though.

Ok guys, I got three mottle cochin bantam chicks and two Mille fleur bearded d'uccles all straight run. I am loving them so much. Now I am scared they will all end up being boys. I will only keep one roo but I also have three bantam ee's that may or may not be girls.
I am in love with these little ones and their feathered feet and knee feathers and the Uccles fuzzy cheeks. I'm also facinated by their developing feathers and colors and COMBS. Do you have more pictures of your Teen chicks?

Maybe hard to see the tinting, but the comb was more spiky and colored early on.
